Mechanical Seals Explained
This book is a “must-read” for everyone working in maintenance and/or engineering of rotating equipment in the broadest sense of the term. The author has > 40 years’ experience with rotating equipment in general and 32 years with Mechanical Seals in particular. Based on his experience in the field, he developed a 2-day training which, over the years, he delivered over 800 times to maintenance and operations personnel at around 200 clients in 34 different countries. All the knowledge and practical experience gathered over those 40+ years is contained in this comprehensive 848 page hard-cover book in which the text is supported by over 750 illustrations, many of which are in colour. This book is written in the same manner as he conducted his work: serious, to the point, often in "nuts and bolts" style and with a touch of humour where appropriate.
